8th International Children Focusing Gathering

FOCUSING with CHILDREN & the CHILD WITHIN

Here is what is waiting for you when you come. We hope to learn, have fun, and nurture ourselves and our inner children together with Focusing.

Thursday evening, on September 27, 2012, we will begin to gather at Queen of Apostles Renewal Centre in Mississauga (on the west side of Toronto) at 7:00 p.m. (19:00 hours)

After registration and finding our rooms, with the help of our welcoming committee, we will gather at 8:30 p.m. in the main gathering hall for our opening where we will meet and greet each other and our inner children.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will have the same schedule.

Yoga/meditation for the early birds at 7:00 a.m.

Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. in the dining hall
followed by a 3 hour presentation at 9:00 a.m. to the whole group.

Lunch 12:00 noon till 2 p.m.

5 concurrent presentations from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

4:00 to 6:00 p.m. we encourage walks, talks, Focusing, naps, journaling, art activities or whatever your Felt Sense is asking.

7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 5 concurrent presentations.

After 9:00 p.m. games, music, singing, dancing, storytelling, etc.

Monday morning, we are hoping to go on an excursion with a primary class from a school in Toronto. At this time, there will be opportunities for a shared experience with the children, observing and practicing Focusing Attitude.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, closing and goodbyes.

Please note, we hope to subsidize some participants, upon request. Space is limited.

The Learning Zone Toronto is welcoming you to come and share. Please send proposals for two hour presentations before January 31, 2012.
